The accommodation is very cheap and is close to the bus station (10 minutes by walk) so very convenient for a night.

It was an ok place to stay market 5 min walk away train 15 mins so for us everything was easy and central

The only thing we didn’t like although room was clean there is a lingering cigarette smell masked by cleaners.

I do not recommend anyone to stay in this hotel!!!

Nothing at all

The staff specially the cleaner are not friendly, we asked the cleaner to clean out room after staying for 3 days since we are booked for 5 days stay. The room was so dirty after 3 days so we are watching the cleaner while cleaning our room. She used the old tower to clean the floor. It was so messy and yucky. One more thing is i dont know if the cleaner is saying bad things she keeps murmuring and we dont understand their language. After that i still gave her 100 dollars. And still she is unfriendly. The front desk staff too cannot speak and understand english. The room are not same as in the pic, they ate so messy and uncomfortable to stay.

Nice hostel for a short stay

I spent here only one night but I really liked the place. The staff was very helpful and honest - I forgot to take my change during check in and when I came later, it was waiting for me even if the staff has changed. There is A/C i a room and bed lamp. My "multibed" room was only two beds and I was alone :)

I coudn't find water dispenser and in Taiwan it is quite pretty standard

Excellent

Great location, near night market (about 200m) and near Formosa Boulevard station, which is the interchange of 2 subway lines. Shared room with only 2 beds is convenient. There is also a carbinet to store luggage.

Best value for money that we found.

Free rent of bicycles, staff were smiley and nice, free luggage storage, clean and decent size room, everything was clean. Comfortable. Great value for money.

No English options on tv, didn't really even matter though.

The price is low for a single private room

The bed is not really clean. It's far about 15minutes from train station. The staff that on duty at night was not friendly. No friend visiting is allowed!

Comfortable n cheap hotel

Cheap. Comfortable bed. Room has window. Lift available. Helpful staff. TV did not work. Was offered another bigger room to compensate. But stay for one night, so do not bother.

Good bed which was comfortable and soft enough for sleeping, also the small table under TV which was convinient for putting something while watching TV or other things.

No shower curtain then the floor will be slippery after taking shower. And no fan for drying the moisture on floor or wall.

Very simple, but good value.

Location was good, lots of restaurants, close to night markets, subway and train station. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was ok size, very simple and a bit old but clean, not bad for the price at all.

Darker curtains would be nice, as there was quite a lot of neon lights shining in through the windows at night from the street.

- Room is not clean enough, having ants. - Weird payment system. They charge credit card first (they say for autorizing your card), and then ask you to pay on arrival. Money get back to the card before I retuned from the trip, it is okay. But still bad experience, because your money freezed, and you need to plan double budget.

Its a good Option, if you clean the room by yourself.

The Hotel is located near the Main Station and only 20 min away from the Nightmarket. The staff was friendly and helpful. The ac worked very good.

The room could have been cleaner (fridge was so dirty that we could'nt use it). The room was to small for 2 guests and the hallway is very Moody. The Hotel is located near 2 casinos, so there are a lot of gamblers and hookers.

Dont expect too much

Its close to the central station andere its cheap. Free stuff like toothbrush, water etc

Its a bit dated. The room looked old and dirty. Especially The bathroom. I wasnt able to close The door when i left the room. The walls are quite thin, so you can hear your neighbours going to the toilet. The staff wasnt very talkative and didnt explain how the light in the room works and what the WiFi code is.

Charged twice

Friendly staff and it was one of the cheapest place to stay in Kaohsiung.

We were charged twice. We paid in cash as we arrived and the money from our bank account was also take. Also other travelers had the same problem (as you can read in older reviews). Staff doesn't speak english, so it was difficult to communicate about it, As I know, the money should be back to our bank account after 30-60 days!!! I hope so... But still waiting... Booking.com team wouldn't help you too.
